Research is the foundation on which Algalita is built. The accumulation of millions of tons of plastic debris in the world’s oceans is creating an unforeseen and serious problem for mankind. Before we can do anything about solving the problem, however, we must provide convincing evidence that the problem exists, and that is the mission of Algalita Research.
Pelagic: (adj.) Of, relating to, or living in open oceans or seas rather than waters adjacent to land or inland waters; freely-migrating.
