YOUTH SUMMER CAMP OVERVIEW

The Ocean Action Leadership Camp is all about getting hands-on, exploring the ocean, and making a real impact! This program gives youth the skills, confidence, and experience to become leaders in environmental action.

Through exciting science, outdoor adventures, and community projects, students will connect with the ocean in a whole new way—whether it’s kayaking in the bay, researching microplastics, or leading a beach cleanup. Through this program, you’ll become a youth leader for your city and the environment.

“Algalita has helped me realize what I want to do with my life. I want to become a marine biologist and protect wildlife.

– Student

“I love that Algalita creates an environment where students experience a community in which awareness and caring about plastic impacts is the “normal” thing rather than a weird thing that they are always having to explain to people.”
